Has anyone noticed that the Pies are on top of the table
thanks for reminding us Bay
sorry guys but I've got to make hay while the sun shines ... if they get into the GF I'll be in heaven ... but if they lose it will be one more to add to the other 26 or so that they've lost
We play Geelong in two weeks ... I'll have a better idea then if we're good enough, although on their day with everything going in their favour they'll beat anyone by a cricket score

we can beat anyone as long as its not raining and our doctor doesnt nearly die in the warm up
i cant understand how a team so good struggles in the wet

that hawks v saints game was an absolute cracker to be at live i was sitting in amongst a lot of hawks fans and we were all on a knifes edge in the final quarter. Should have seen the guy next to me when the hawks were denied a goal by the substitution rule lost his **** completely, was hilarious
fair result, i think both teams played hard and fair and a draw was a good result my undefeated streak of seeing st kilda lives on... just barely

Another great win by the Pies over the Blues
Have I mentioned that we are top of the table )
Next week will be another test Bay, pies v cats. If the saints can hold onto third spot, looks like we'll be playing the loser of next weeks game in week one of the finals.

every game is a test tbh Shano ... the real test being the GF .. i'm hoping all this good form shown by the Pies in recent times will realise into a premiership

bad umpiring aside the pies deserved to win that game..
interesting stat that the minor premier (which more than likely the pies will be) has only won the flag 7 times since 1990

^^^^ any reason you picked 1990 Tim
stats like that mean nothing ... the GF is a two horse race ... generally a team that is on the ball on the day, or maybe gets a favourable bounce or umpiring decision, or a combination of all the above will take the trophy back to their cabinet ... a proud club like Collingwood has 14 of them) but unfortunately have 26 runners up medals (hence the term colliwoobles)

it was just the stat that was quoted on triple m last night.. but i know that it was the last time the wobblys won the flag
unless the dogs pick up thei game it will be a race of 3.. you lot, us and the saints

its getting to the point of the season where the top teams need to put away the bottom teams to assert dominance...
if they compete or get humbled by 14th 15th or 16th you would have to ask what might happen against stronger sides

was thinking that myself... how about that 2nd quarter... took saints a few weeks to adjust without Rooey and its taken them a few weeks to adjust to having him back. Will be a cracking final series. Despite the Collingwood wins over them i cant seperate Collingwood, Geelong or Saints.

I would add the Dogs into that equation ... on their day any of those teams can beat the other
I'm hoping that the Pies can keep up their good form ... anyway It's out turn to win it

you've been quiet lateky Bay....anychance those colliwobbles are getting closer
Looks like you'll play bulldogs in first final and should win it. We've got the cats, could go either way. Can't see anyone but Saints, Cats or Pies wnning it this year.

definitely wasnt our best performance shano but i've been saying for some time that we need a game that will frighten us enough and get the players eyes off the newspaper ... all I can hope is I hope its not infectious
